'w_scend' ('w_' is a wave prefix) - this is the age provided in response to the question 'school' ('How old were you when you left school?') in the respondent's initial interview. It applies to individuals who have ever attended school and are no longer in school.

w_feend - this is the age provided in response to the question 'fenow' ('And how old were you when you left college or university, or when you finished or stopped your course?'). It applies to individuals who have ever attended college or university, and are no longer at college or university.

Scend_dv and feend_dv are variables derived from w_scend and w_feend respectively and are released in the cross-wave file xwavedat. These variables are designed to make using this information more user-friendly; otherwise, users would need to construct similar variables themselves: w_feend and w_scend are asked only once during the initial wave, and in all subsequent waves, they are missing for the given respondent. However, in xwavedat, scend_dv and feend_dv contain valid values for all respondents who answered these questions.
