Why lost to follow between wave1 & wave4 is much higher than between wave4 & wave7?

Dear Jingjing Wang,
Do you mean that more people dropped out of the Survey between Waves 1 and 4 than between Waves 4 and 7? This will mainly be because the second wave of a longitudnial study is likely to have a higher number of refusals than other waves.
