Description

Dear all,

I am currently dealing with the variable `w'NWSTAT of BHPS. In UKHLS, I have the possibility of understanding if the household where alter or ego live in the following wave is still in the sample.

In BHPS, I do not understand if the value "2" assumed by NWSTAT refers to the fact that alter lives in a household that is still in the sample or if
this information is simply not available.

Thank you and best,
Lydia

Hello Lydia,

This category means the the Ego/Alter are in different households in the next wave and both households were interviewed in the next wave (although Ego and Alter may not have given individual interviews at the next wave).

Best wishes,
Alita
