Does Special License Access include geocoded data on LSOA/MSOA level?

Description
Dear UnS Support team,
I used the Special License Access data for Understanding Society before but only on the Local Authority District (LAD) level. For a new project I would need geo-data coded more detailed. Therefore my question, if Understanding Society (wave 1) is available via Special License Access on MSOA or even LSOA level. If yes, I would be very grateful for information on how to apply for this data.
Thanks in advance,
Tina

Dear Tina,
Yes, LSOA and MSOA are available under special licence from the UK Data Service, but only to researchers within the UK. The SL conditions can be found here: https://www.ukdataservice.ac.uk/get-data/how-to-access/conditions/special-licence
If you go to the UKDS website you can find the Understanding Society data files here: https://discover.ukdataservice.ac.uk/series/?sn=2000053
Then click on:
GN 33428 | Understanding Society, 2008- : Special Licence Access
You can then choose the dataset you want to download and you will be directed to all the necessary forms and procedures.
Hope this helps, best wishes,
Victoria
