Description

Having looked over your website, it would seem that there is a wide range of family characteristics as well as information on parenting style and parent-child relationships. It also seems that you have been able to link to educational data, is this the case? As I am interested in educational outcomes at secondary school is this included or just Key Stage data? If secondary education data is or can be linked, what is the rough sample size?
Secondly, having downloaded the data from UKDA the youth questionnaire only seems to be undertaken by those less than 16 (too young to have undertaken secondary school exams). So is there no youth information for those who have educational attainment assigned as they were too old to complete the youth questionnaire?
I am a PhD researcher looking at neighbourhood effects and educational attainment so the ideal data would include information on parent-child relationships, family characteristics, child attitudes and aspirations, educational attainment and geographic identifier.
Thanks for your help.
