indinui_xw and wave 14

Hi there, I am trying to use the indinui_xw weights in my indresp data, but it is not matching any of my wave 14 data. The website also only lists waves 6-13 for this variable. Is there a reason why it is excluded? Thank you.

Hello Amber,
For wave 14 inding2_xw is the appropriate cross-sectional adult main interview weight. This new weight was introduced to account for the general population sample boost (GPS2) added in wave 14.

If you’re doing cross-sectional analysis, please use indinui_xw for Waves 6 to 13, and inding2_xw for Wave 14 onwards.
