There are a few variables related to rent and mortgages in the COVID-19 Survey. You can locate them using the COVID-19 variable search tool by searching for the concepts like "rent" and/or "mortgage."

However, more comprehensive household-related information should be taken from the Main Stage survey. You can link the COVID-19 data to the main UKHLS annual survey using the pidp variable, which is available in all datasets.
