Does access require EU-US data bridge?

Description
Hi! I would love access to the individual level data for my PhD research. Does acces require that my university be under the Data Privacy Framework of the EU-US data bridge? Thank you so much.

If you want to access Understanding Society EUL data, please refer to the data access conditions at the UKDS website. If you go to this EUL harmonised UKHLS-BHPS data access page and click on Access Data button, you just need to follow the prompts. You will need to generate a login using your University or organisational details. If your organsiation is not allowed access you will be told at this point.
