Understanding Society User Support

Dear colleagues,

I am a Sociologist at the DemoSoc Research Group (Universitat Pompeu Fabra) I'm currently doing research on gender differences in graduates early labour market trajectory. Among the controls to introduce in my analysis, I am considering a summary measure of cognitive ability. I see that there are many variables that were generated in Wave 3. Was there any attempt to summarise them in a single measure, or to reduce the dimensionality of the analysis?
