Hi,
I use the 1-8 wave child survey to study the children's health (longitudinal data), should I use the weight when running regression? If yes, what weight should I use? Because I don't know if there is a weight that covers 1-8 wave data.

You can use one of the weights available in the child file (w_psnenxx_lw). Please read the weights selection guidance (https://www.understandingsociety.ac.uk/documentation/mainstage/user-guides/main-survey-user-guide/selecting-the-correct-weight-for-your-analysis) and the weights FAQ (https://www.understandingsociety.ac.uk/sites/default/files/downloads/general/weighting_faqs.pdf) to select the weight that is the most suitable for your analysis.
