Representative Counts of Migration Moves

Description
Hello,
I am attempting to ascertain how many people moved into each U.K. region per year. To begin this process, I have run a svy tab of the mvyr and gor_dv variables, weighted with svyset k_psu [pweight = k_indpxui_lw], strata(k_strata).
However, the counts do not change between the weighted and unweighted data, and therefore my crosstabs returns typically single-digit counts of moves where thousands are expected in relation to the true population size.
I was hoping that you could inform me if/how weights could be used to make these counts of movements representative of their true population size?

Dear Morgan,
You need to multiple the weighted proportions by the UK population, then you will get the population counts for the categories.
For example, the unweighted proportion of Pakistani adults in our sample in Wave 1 is 3% and weighted proportion is 1.2%, then the population estimate of Pakistani adults is 1.2 multiplied by UK population in 2009-10. Of course, the population count that you use should be the correct one. For example, as our data about ethnicity, racel, is from the 16+ year olds in private hh in UK, for the estimate you should multiply the weighted proportion by the UK population of 16+ year olds in private hh in UK.
