Description

I am currently investigating the development of attitudes towards immigration and I am planning to use Understanding Society. I am planning to build an indicator of "attitudes towards immigration" using national identity, education and political views as proxies (following Kaufmann, E. and Harris, G., 2015. “White Flight” or positive contact? Local diversity and attitudes to immigration in Britain. Comparative Political Studies, 48(12), pp.1563-1590.). However, I was wondering whether you are aware of any other relevant variable within the survey that might be relevant and that I could take a look at?

Many thanks in advance and have a lovely day,

Best,
Laura
