Description

Hi there,
after merging data using variables related to general health (such as scsf1) there seems to be many unmatched cases. Is this to be expected?
This merging was carried out on stata using one to one.
Many thanks,
Erica Holt-White

Dear Erica,

There could be unmatched cases because not every individual responds in every wave, but I would need more information to be sure that's the reason. Did you look at our training materials? The link to the online course is on the right hand side of this page: https://www.understandingsociety.ac.uk/help/training

You might find it useful to call in to our help-desk hour on Wednesdays to discuss. If you would like to then please email us for the joining information.

Best wishes,
Stephanie

Dear Erica,

Our Policy Unit (https://www.understandingsociety.ac.uk/research/policy) are interested in contacting you regarding the analysis you are doing. Would you mind if I pass on your email address to them?

Best wishes,
Stephanie
