Dear all,

I am looking for a variable indicating whether respondents intent to leave/quit their job.
Does UKHLS contain such variable?

Thank you,
Zoé

Dear Zoé,

We do not have exactly that question, but you may find some of the questions asked in the Work Conditions module (Waves 2, 4 and 6) useful. For example, we ask whether the respondent would like a new job with the same employer, a new job with a new employer, to start their own business, to give up paid work, and whether they think it is likely that these things will happen in the next 12 months.

The documentation for the modules are here: https://www.understandingsociety.ac.uk/search?fulltext=work%20conditions&f%5B0%5D=search_api_aggregation_1%3AMainstage%20Module

Best wishes,
