To whom it may concern

I am a researcher broadly interested in environmental behaviour survey instruments and I have been having a look at the Environmental Behaviour module in wave 4 of the Understanding Society UK household longitudinal study.

I wanted to understand the source of your questions in this module.

I note helpfully you provide the sources, but I was having difficulty tracking down what “DEFRA adapted” may be.

I believe “UKHLS” and “BHPS” to correspond to the Understanding Society and British Household Panel Survey respectively.

I thought that “DEFRA adapted” might have referred to the consumer segmentation exercise DEFRA completed in 2008, but I was unsure about this.

Any help you can offer would be most welcome.

DEFRA TNS Omnibus 2010
DEFRA 2009 Attitudes Survey
DEFRA 2007 Attitudes survey

If there is a specific question you are intersted in, we can let you know the original source of that item in particular.
