Description
Hello,
I'm pretty sure ive downloaded waves 1-7. However, when i open the file it doesn't seem to say which wave it is. Also my variable of interest is employment status.
Can you please advise me what name this is under as I can't seem to find it.

Hello Gemma,
As you have mentioned 1-7 waves of data, I am guessing that you have downloaded Innovation Panel data. For the main Understanding Society Survey only 5 waves of data have been released as yet. It is not clear from your post which survey you are interested in using. If you are you interested in using the the main Understanding Society Survey then download the files under "Understanding Society: Waves 1-5, 2009-2014" with Study Number 6614:

All files that start with a_ pertain to wave 1, b_ to wave 2. This rule applies to both Innovation Panel and the main Understanding Society Survey.
