Description

Where can I find the variables movemth and moveyr (month and year left household) in waves 2, 3 and 4? Their positioning in the questionnaire suggests that they should be in the data file _indall.

Thank you for this prompt response.
The problem we have is that we need the dates left the household for children and my understanding is that indresp only contains observations for adults (and some older children). It is possible to find these variables in the data set indall which covers all household members?

movemth and moveyr are asked about issued sample members in responding households and they are now scheduled for release in the next revision of b_indsamp, c_indsamp, d_indsamp, respectively. Thankyou for making us aware of their omission.

Advice from our outreach team:
Case 1: child and parent moved out. Then to know about a child’s moving date, they will need to know the moving date of the parent with whom the child has moved – note only available if adult was interviewed (not just enumerated).
Case 2: child moved into a Understanding Society household (that is child is a TSM). Then this information can be gathered directly from: joinmnth, joinyear
