Description

I am using the UKHLS data to do survival analysis. I did not use the BHPS data, and I did not use survey weight. But, when I run the st-command, for example, stsum, stcox, the STATA always report an error "ba_xewght not found".

For example:
stset duration,failure(event) id(pidp)
stsum

What are the possible reasons of this error? Is ba_xewght a variable in UKHLS? Thanks.

Hello,

Please specify the waves of data you are using for the survival analysis. Ideally you should use the longitudinal weight from the last wave that you are including in your analysis, relevant for the samples included in your analysis. The weight you have mentioned is for analysing data of enumerated individuals from Wave 1 of the BHPS.
