Description

I am wondering whether there exists also the full four digit version of ISCO codes as the variable query only reports the existence of condensed three digit coding for two variables (jbisco88_cc & jlisco88_cc).
By condensed I understand, however, that it is condensed from the four digit code hence I was wondering whether four digit code is accesible and if so under which requirements and where?

Hello,

4-digit ISCO is available in the Special Licence version of the main UKHLS data file available here: https://beta.ukdataservice.ac.uk/datacatalogue/studies/study?id=6931 As this is a Special Licence dataset, the application procedure is slightly more complex, please see the details here: https://www.understandingsociety.ac.uk/documentation/access-data

Best wishes,
UKHLS User Support
