Description

Hi,
Each wave has a question on children's SDQ to be reported by the parent, available in the 'child' file, but there's only data on a subsample of children. Which children get selected for the parent-reported SDQ? Is it a subsample based on age?

Thanks

Matthias

Dear Matthias,

The SDQ questions are asked of children aged from 5 to 8 years old. You can see the universe (there are some other routing rules) and other details in the study questionnaires available here: https://www.understandingsociety.ac.uk/documentation/mainstage/questionnaires

Best wishes,
