In your example if both partners participated in the adult interview then you will have data from those interviews for both of them. In other words, even if the household is a responding household, each hh member eligible for the youth or adult interview is asked additionally whether they would like to participate in that specifi (yout/adult) interview. And if they say yes, then we have data for them from those interviews.</p>
